Κάλεσμα για την Παρέλαση των Ελλήνων στην Νέα Υόρκη από τους Ικαριώτες εκεί απεύθυναν οι Ομογενείς μας.

Το Ικαριώτικο ”άρμα” θα είναι στο κέντρο της παρέλασης στην 38η θέση (First Battalion, Group #38)

Το ραντεβού για τους ”εκεί” Ικαριώτες έχει δωθεί για την Κυριακή 29 Μαρτίου στη 1:30 το μεσημέρι στην 64η Οδό (ανάμεσα στην Πέμπτη Λεωφόρο και την Park Αvenue). Η πρόσκληση αναφέρει επισήμανση για σωστή εμφάνιση.

Η παρέλαση της Ελληνικής Ανεξαρτησίας θα γίνει στις 13:45 στην Πέμπτη Λεωφόρο, ανάμεσα στην 64η και 79 οδό στο Μανχάταν.

Dear Brothers and Sisters:

On Sunday, March 29, 2015, the Greek Independence Day Parade will commence at 1:45 p.m. on 5^thAvenue, between 64^th and 79^thStreets in Manhattan. As always, we need your full support and participation at the parade.

We all need to meet at 1:30PM at 64^St Street between Fifth and Park Avenues. This year we are in the middle of the First Battalion, Group #38.  (Please see the attached Order of Parade Battalions program) This year’s parade will once again be televised on channel 9 and Greek media outlets.   Please NO Sneakers, Jeans or Bright Colors.   If possible please dress your children in traditional Greek wear. In addition, not all parents will be allowed to accompany their children on the float.  A few adults will be selected to supervise the children.  Lastly, please bring as many Ikaria and Greek flags as possible to display on and off the float.
